Here's some good places to find out all about those 'other clans' are.
These links are one that i use alot, and i highly recommend you visit them. The info inside is most useful.

Kyuden Hida Kuni Tetsu's Offical Crab clan site, also the home of the Official FAQ and Errata for clan war.
Togashi Bob's Fine Used Naginatas Dragon Clan. Go here and register on his Player Locator and find worthy opponents in your area to do battle with.
Kosaten Shiro Crane Clan. Has really good battle reports and Homebrew Rules.

Looking Into The VoidPheonix Clan. Isawa Jikkyu's site. This where he'll tell you all about the "Peaceful" intentions of his clan and why they need an Oni, for academic purposes only of course.
Kyuden IsawaPheonix Clan. This has some interesting insights on how the Pheonix view the other clans.
Defending the Art of PeaceLion Clan. Has descriptions of all the Tac Cards, Spells, and Items.
Clans Of The Pitac Unaligned. Cool site with the Custom Personality Card generator. Very Cool.
Army Builder Cool program to help you build your armies without a mess of books and papers. Does the math for ya!
Rokugan Senso Scorpion Clan. Homebrew rules specifically for our clan.
Shiro No Shosuro Scorpion Clan. Mainly for L5R, but check it out!
A English-Japanese Dictionary. Really useful. I found out that Otaku means 'geek; using this thing!
Gaijin's Realm Dragon Clan. Run by Togashi Gaijin. Has a really cool Random Scenario Generator for more than your average battles!
Kyuden no Manji Scorpion Clan. Run by Bayushi Manji. Cool battle reports and pics of scorpion figures!!!!

Kyuden Saru Monkey Clan: It's Toku!!! gotta love the little guy!.
Kyuden Nezumi Ratling clan. Go there and support the ratling cause..
The Forbidden Cove 7th Sea site. Run by Moto Denjuro (the 'Din), go there to see how the gaijin like to fight it out on the high seas.
Save the Ogres! Run by the only guy crazy enough to represent these guys, Todo! surf in and lend the big guys a hand!.
Stage Of The Shadow Scorpion. Its mainly a CCG site, run by Shosuro Mashita, but well worth the visit.
